MEMBERSHIP
CLASSES OF MEMBERSHIP
Regular, Emeritus, Student and Associate memberships are available.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Regular Members: Any person who (i) has received a Ph.D. or M.D.
degree from an accredited university, and (ii) has demonstrated professional
competence in and has made scientific contributions to the general field
of Behavioral Neuroendocrinology may apply for membership in the Society.

Emeritus Members: If a Regular Member has retired, he/she is eligible
for an Emeritus Membership, which entails a waiver of dues.

Student Members: Any student enrolled in a program providing predoctoral
education and training in Behavioral Neuroendocrinology may apply for a
Student Membership. Verification of student status, in the form of a written
statement from the graduate advisor or department head, is required.

Associate Members: Any person not conforming to the above requirements,
or any institution with a scientific interest in Behavioral Neuroendocrinology
may apply for an Associate Membership.
Official Journal
The Society for Behavioral Neuroendocrinology is pleased to have Hormones
and Behavior as its official journal. A subscription
to Hormones and Behavior is included withRegular, Emeritus,
and Associate memberships. Students receive the journal at a special
discounted rate, but may join the Society without receipt of the journal
and pay a lower dues.
Current subscribers to Hormones and Behavior who are not members
of SBN
If you already receive Hormones and Behavior and would
rather join SBN and receive the journal through us, send us a dues check
and write to Ms. Stephanie Smith at Academic Press for a refund on your
present subscription. If you are currently an Associate Editor for Hormones
and Behavior and receive the journal gratis a donation to the SBN with
your membership application would be appreciated.
