LOCATION: Rooms have been reserved at the Doubletree
Paradise Valley Resort in Scottsdale Arizona. This is the location
of all meeting functions (sessions, posters, workshops, banquets, reception,
etc.). You will be able to attend the entire meeting only a short walk
from your room. The SBN Meeting will largely take over the entire resort.
General sessions will be held in the large Grand Ballroom and poster sessions
will be generously accommodated in the even larger adjacent room the hotel
calls the Forum. Smaller rooms are reserved for other meetings and workshops.
The hotel has two stories arranged around a central courtyard with two
swimming pools, a putting green and attractive landscaping. The resort
has many amenities (see below), including several restaurants. A variety
of meal options at different price points within the resort will be available
throughout the meeting and all rooms have room service. The resort is also
a short distance from downtown Scottsdale with many world-class dining,
shopping and recreation options.
RATES: Rooms are available with a King-sized bed or with
two Full-sized beds. Room rates are per room based upon occupancy.
Each room has only a maximum of two beds, regardless of how many people
booked into the room. These rates are also available to meeting attendees
for 2 days prior and 2 days after the meeting for those who wish a more
extended stay. Check-in time is 4:00 PM, check-out is 12:00 Noon.
